Who are we looking for?

To thrive in the role, we see that you are structured, service-oriented, and have a good ability to collaborate, while also being able to work independently.

You have:

• Good experience working independently as a building inspector with at least two years of experience in case management
• Documented knowledge of the Administrative Procedure Act and the Planning and Building Act (PBL)
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Relevant education for the execution of the assignment.

We are looking for someone with solid experience working independently as a building inspector who feels confident in the role of an authority operator. You have a good understanding of the legislation in the area and are used to making decisions, assessing documents, and communicating with various stakeholders in the construction process.

What does the role entail?

In the role of building inspector, you will have a central role in the construction process. You are responsible for ensuring that constructions comply with applicable legislation, decisions, and technical requirements. The work involves close dialogue with builders, technical actors, and colleagues, as well as independent work with supervision and assessments.

You will have a varied and developing everyday life where you work with the entire process, from consultations and start permits to site visits and final permits.

Your main tasks include:

• Conducting technical consultations and issuing start permits and final permits
• Performing site visits and supervision during ongoing construction
• Ensuring that projects comply with the Administrative Procedure Act, BBR, and PBL
• Following up on decisions and documentation in the building permit process
• Contributing to maintaining a safe, legally secure, and efficient construction process.

This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by us at 2Complete with good terms and benefits. The assignment starts immediately and extends until 2026-10-31 with the possibility of extension. Working hours are weekdays 08:00–17:00, with the workplace located in central Stockholm. As part of the recruitment process, we will conduct a security check such as an economic background check and request an extract from the criminal record.
